Exploring Worthy Yuzu Emulator Alternatives
Yuzu Emulator was one of the well-known Nintendo Switch Emulators due to its wide range of compatibility with Switch games. Like other emulators, it allows you to enjoy your favourite Switch games on platforms like Android smartphones, Linux, and Windows without using a Switch console. What a great opportunity that it offers!
Because of some legal problems and being taken to court by Nintendo in February 2024, this project was taken down, and further development ceased. Due to these uncertainties, alternatives to Yuzu are here to guide you.

Suyu Emulator (Sue-You)
Suyu, ironically, sounds like Sue-you is the most famous Android alternative to Yuzu. It provides almost the same functionality features as the Yuzu emulator offers. The only difference is that it is legal, while Yuzu breaks the law. Suyu doesn’t automatically generate the Prod and Title Keys for you. You have to bring your own, which gives you full control over the process. Suyu is written in C++ with a focus on portability, which is why it lies at the top of the Yuzu alternatives.

Ryujinx Emulator
Ryujinx is a free and open-source Nintendo Switch Emulator developed in C#; compared to most emulators written in C++ or C. This emulator is created from scratch and is focused on people who prefer to emulate rather than configurations, mods, and files, a great alternative to Yuzu.
Key Note: Nintendo shut down Ryujinx, the last remaining Switch emulator after Yuzu.

EggNS Emulator (Switch Emulator for Android)
This emulator is developed by NXTeam Studios and works on Android smartphones, not iOS devices. It also enables wireless controller support when emulating Switch games on Smartphones.
EggNS doesn’t work well on any Android phone. Instead, it requires high-specification smartphones, such as those running Snapdragon 855, 865, or featuring 6 to 8 GB of RAM, for games to function properly. It only demands that you provide the NSP and XCI ROM files, and then you can enjoy your preferred game on the go.

Torzu (Yuzu Fork)
Forks share the same codebase but include changes from other developers, not merged with the primary repository. Torzu is a famous fork of Yuzu, an open-source Nintendo Switch emulator that essentially uses the same code, although it requires to be built manually rather than given in a set and finished .exe, dmg file, or apk. Like Suyu, it is built in C++, but the original repository was placed on the Tor Network to escape DMCA Laws. Torzu supports platforms like Linux and Windows.

Cemu (Part Nintendo Switch Emulator)
This Wii U emulator only plays Wii U games and apps for Switch. Cemu is only available for Windows 10/11 and doesn’t support other platforms like Mac and Android. Its latest version, 2.2, was released on Sep 8, 2024, which shows that the developers are highly concerned about fixing bugs and introducing new features.

Are Yuzu Alternatives Good Enough to Replace?
In short, all Yuzu alternatives have their strengths, based on categories such as compatibility with games, user interface, and support for mods. Their developers continue to work on keeping these emulators alive, and a notable fact is that all of them are free to download.
Conclusion
Yuzu is the best Nintendo Switch Emulator, its compatibility with thousands of games is just unbeatable. It supports various platforms, including Windows, Linux, iOS, and Android. However, alternatives to Yuzu are still mentioned here in case of some issues with Yuzu. These alternatives are Sudachi, Egg NS, Ryujinx, Suyu, and Cemu.
